Project Overview

Extending the existing sewer system, this project featured a new 10 ft. diameter, 4-mile-long sewer constructed with an earth pressure balance tunnel boring machine (EPBTBM) and lined with precast concrete segments. The project spanned the Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road corridor and encountered varied ground conditions from glacial tills to shale.
