The Blacklick Creek Sanitary Interceptor Sewer (BCSIS) is an extension of an existing 66-inch sewer that currently ends near Blacklick Ridge Boulevard. The project area encompasses the Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road corridor and extends from Blacklick Ridge Boulevard, north to Morse Road. The new 10 ft. diameter, 4-mile long sewer was constructed with an earth pressure balance TBM and lined with precast concrete segments. Ground conditions varied widely from glacial tills to shale.
