Project Overview

Following the collapse of the sewer interceptor along 15 Mile Road in 2016, which caused a significant sinkhole and sewage spill of nearly 13 million gallons of raw sewage into the Clinton River, emergency repairs were executed. The repair involved the installation of 3,700 ft. of 9 ft. 2 in. diameter carbon fiber reinforced polymer pipe (CCFRP) inside the damaged interceptor within a stringent 30-day timeline.
