Oakland-Macomb Interceptor Drain – SRF Segment 3 Repair Program – Contract 4

Oakland Macomb Interceptor Drain Drainage District

Project Overview

Contract 4 of the Oakland-Macomb Interceptor Drain SRF Segment 3 Repair Program is a rehabilitation project of an existing, aging sewer. The project includes cleaning, grouting, crack sealing, and slip lining of the existing sewer.  The major challenge of this project is performing all the repair work in a live sewer, which requires daily mobilization and demobilization of all labor, material, and equipment into and out of the sewer.  Approximately 23,000 ft. of centrifugally cast fiberglass reinforced polymer pipe (CCFRPM) will be installed via slip lining and grouted in place.
