Conveyance System Infrastructure Improvements

Great Lakes Water Authority

Project Overview

We led the rehabilitation and modification of 58 outfall structures across the City of Detroit, enhancing the city’s infrastructure to support efficient water management. The project included the installation of backwater gates to prevent water infiltration into the sewer system, safeguarding against potential flooding and contamination. Additionally, remote monitoring and instrumentation systems were integrated, providing the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) with real-time data for improved operational oversight and decision-making.
