Austin, TX
The Field Engineer reports to the Project Manager and performs engineering duties in the planning, design coordination, and execution of tunnel, shaft, and underground construction systems. This position offers direct exposure to large-scale underground equipment, complex mechanical systems, civil and geotechnical engineering, and hands on real-world problem solving not typically available in traditional design roles.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to climb a ladder, climb stairs, enter confined spaces, stand and walk and is occasionally required to balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
